Our president hosts the Queen Letizia Disability Prizes 2017

Excerpt of our speech

Last Tuesday 21st November, 12:30 in the afternoon, a new edition of the annual Queen Letizia Prizes were awarded by the Real Patronato de la Discapacidad. The act took was held at El Pardo Palace in Madrid and 11 distintions were granted for Spain and Latin America, in five different categories: Prevention, Universal Accessibility in Municipalities, Inclusive Culture, Labour Integration and Technologies for Accessibility.

Our president, Javier Hernández Aguirán, hosted the event and presented the prizes. He also took the responsibility to prepare and read the opening and closing speeches, in which he shared with the 200 plus audience a good number of messages aimed at the progress of disability as a social reality. Ideas that, in fact, make the core values of De los Pies a la Cabeza.

Here we attach an excerpt of his discourse. Also we wish to very specially thank HRH The Queen Letizia for carrying the torch and so persistently praising the approach taken in our message.
